We’ve made news and we’ve made a difference in public policy, consumer safety and in the lives of ordinary people in areas dealing with catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death, products liability, online banking fraud and workers’ compensation, to name just a few.

We have fought for and won settlements and verdicts that combined add up to hundreds of millions of dollars for our clients. Since first opening our doors in 1992, we have gained the expertise and the resources to take on large cases, often with powerful opponents.

Some of these powerful opponents have included corporate giants Firestone and Ford Motors. In 2000, Ralph G. Patino, our president and founder, filed lawsuits against the two manufacturers on behalf of the victims of tire tread separation and SUV rollover accidents. This pioneer case resulted in the historic recall of more than 6.5 million Firestone ATX Wilderness tires that were proven to have caused SUV-rollover accidents, killing at least 174 people and injuring more than 700 in the United States alone. Mr. Patino won substantial settlements for each of his clients and a personal apology from the manufacturers.

Over the years, we’ve been at the forefront of many other landmark cases, including a major class-action lawsuit defending the rights of older workers against age discrimination in the workplace, police abuse and brutality, online banking fraud and identity theft and products liability. More recently, we’ve taken on the rights of Miami-Dade taxi drivers and medallion holders seeking compensation and equal protection against ride-hailing companies like Uber and Lyft.
